How updates work
Kinetic Lotus grows in chapters rather than continuously, because every campaign board is hand-tuned so that exactly one opening tap reaches the top star target. That tuning is slow, so new content arrives in batches — and always as a free update. There is nothing to buy in the game and there never will be.
Updates never remove levels you have already cleared, and they never reset progress. Balance changes to a board's star thresholds are possible in principle but are avoided once a chapter has shipped, because a three-star clear you earned should stay earned.
How to check which version you have
- Open Kinetic Lotus and go to Settings (the gear icon).
- The version number is shown at the bottom of the settings panel.
- On Android you can also check under Settings → Apps → Kinetic Lotus → App details, and on iOS under the App Store listing's version history.
If your version is behind, Google Play and the App Store both update the game automatically in the background. To force it, open the store listing and tap Update.
What is coming
Work in progress is announced on the news page rather than promised here, so that this page stays a record of what actually shipped. The iOS version people used to ask about is out — it is on the App Store now — and new campaign chapters are in development.
